UTF-8 only · 2 MiB · up to 20,000 cues. Or paste your SRT below.

Positive = later. Negative = earlier. Maximum ±24 hours. Clamping can shorten a cue; zero-duration cues are rejected.

A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

How to use it

  1. Paste or select a UTF-8 SRT file.
  2. Enter a positive or negative millisecond offset.
  3. Review timestamps, resolve warnings, and export SRT.

UTF-8 SRT up to 2 MiB and 20,000 cues, with HH:MM:SS,mmm timestamps and offsets within ±24 hours. Negative starts are flagged or explicitly clamped; zero-duration cues are rejected. Positioning extensions and drift correction are not supported.

A CONCRETE EXAMPLE

An offset of +1,500 ms moves a subtitle starting at 00:00:10,000 to 00:00:11,500.

Know the limits

UTF-8 SRT up to 2 MiB and 20,000 cues, with HH:MM:SS,mmm timestamps and offsets within ±24 hours. Negative starts are flagged or explicitly clamped; zero-duration cues are rejected. Positioning extensions and drift correction are not supported.

A good question

Will this fix subtitles that drift over time?

A fixed offset addresses a consistent timing difference. Progressive drift needs a different adjustment.
